Gwynfa member, Caroline Saunders, has had one of her photographs (see below) chosen to appear in the Western Mail this Thursday (30th July). It will appear in a regular feature entitled ‘Views From Wales’. Well done Caroline. Click on the photo to see a larger version.
Gwynfa didn’t fair to well at the PAGB National PDI Championships at Warwick finishing somewhere in the midfield.
However, our friends from Inn Focus came joint first with Wigan 10. Then it was nail biting stuff with a each club having to show an extra 5 images each. Unfortunately Inn Focus were pipped at the post by just a single point.
Despite our midfield showing, Team Gwynfa had a great day out! Thanks to Leigh, Lynda, Heidi, Alan, Val, Allan, Ennis and Ken. But biggest thanks go to RobBob Beynon who organised everything.
We all finished the day by enjoying some excellent food and great service at a gem of a pub, the Red Lion in Peterstow, Ross-on-Wye.
Oh, and Heidi won the raffle (yet again)!
Alan Shepherd not only had 5 out of 9 prints accepted in the 2015 Cotswold Salon, he also had a highly commended and a Silver Medal for ‘Steelworks Reflection. Well done Alan.
