The RPS is coming to South Wales

The Royal Photographic Society is bringing its Photography Roadshow to South Wales this summer. See world class photography at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff, on Saturday 20 June. They will be showing printed images in various genres: Contemporary, Fine Art, Travel, Landscape, Natural History, Documentary and Applied.

You’ll be able to ask questions about the RPS Distinctions qualification scheme and hear from photographers whose work is on display. You will also be able to question members of the Distinctions team.

Above all, you will be able to view the images close-up. If you are a photographer, this is for you! Do come along. More information here.

Competition Judges for 2020

This is a reminder of how we deal with the thorny issue of those of you who DO and those of you who DO NOT wish to know the identities of the judges for our monthly competitions and challenges in 2020.

As in the past few years, we won’t be announcing the names of judges in club but their names are shown on our website.

To find the name of any judge we are using in 2020, please look in the website calendar (on the right hand side of our home page). Please note, the information won’t be visible unless you click on the link and open the calendar entry. The information is visible in either the entry night or competition dates.
