Pixels 2011 took place at Talbot Green Community Centre on Saturday 5th November 2011. The event was judged by Tony Potter PPSA, EFIAP/b, ARPS, DPAGB, APAGB and provided us with a truly nail-biting finish. With the very last photo of the day scoring 20, first time entrants Mold Camera Club, with a total score of 72 points, pipped Bridgend & District, Inn Focus and Merthyr Tydfil by just one point. Ebbw Vale, Port Talbot and Rhondda were a further point back in joint fifth place. Mold became only the second club to win the competition at their first attemp, Inn Focus having done the same last year. They also became the first winners from the North Wales Photographic Association to win Pixels. The full results of Tony's deliberations were as follows: |
