WINTER 2010 EXHIBITION AT GARTH OLWG - RESULTS

Margaret Hodge FRPS APAGB selected 44 of a total entry of 68 prints for our first Winter Exhibition. Twenty four photographers entered and all were represented in the final selection.

Three prints were ‘Highly Commended’:- 'Taff’s Daffs' by Terry Donnelly; 'Winter Jay' by Alec Stewart and 'Rock Patterns, Pembrokeshire Coast' by Val Shepherd. Two prints were 'Very Highly Commended':- 'Traeth Mawr Beach, Marcross' by Alan Shepherd and 'Feathered Friends, Aswan, Egypt' by Brian Sewell.

Third place overall was awarded to:- 'Flying Ahead' by Allan Squires

Second place overall was awarded to:- 'Castle Coch, Forward Back' by Mark Mumford

First place overall was awarded to:- 'Frozen Waterfall' by Chris Tidman

Best Print on a Welsh Theme had three contenders:- 'Principality Ensemble' by Roger Atkins; 'A Dusting of Snow' by Leigh Woolford but the winner was 'Carreg Cennen' by Mostyn Davies.
